Job description

AMOT is seeking a professional BI Analyst with hands-on experience proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in converting business and functional requirements into sophisticated reports and dashboards. The person in this role will play a critical role in enabling data driven decision making across the organization. This position will partner closely with stakeholders in various functions —including Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations—to translate business objectives into actionable insights through high quality analytics, interactive dashboards, and data models.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI and SQL with solid business acumen and a passion for improving business processes through analytics. This role owns the full analytics lifecycle—from requirements gathering and data modeling to insight generation and executive ready storytelling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with cross‑functional business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and decision needs.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and decision‑making through data.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and maintain analytical data models and standardized KPIs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability of reporting.
  • Develop clear, concise insights and recommendations tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries (T‑SQL / PL‑SQL) to extract, transform, and analyze data.
  • Support and enhance ETL processes and data transformations using best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support on dashboard usage and interpretation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve BI tools, processes, and standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree or advanced analytics coursework preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, working in cross‑functional environment
  • 3–5 years of experience using SQL with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database for data retrieval and analysis.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Skilled in DAX and Power Query for Power BI reports and dashboard development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Background in business, finance, or supply-chain analytics
  • Experience using Python/R for advanced analytics (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and Copilot (preferred)
