Summary Description: As a Hardgoods Sales Associate, you’ll help every guest—whether they’re stepping into ski boots for the first time or chasing their next expert line—find the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings to match their needs and goals. With your product knowledge, people skills, and passion for the outdoors, you’ll deliver welcoming, personalized service that ensures each guest leaves feeling confident, supported, and excited for their time on the mountain.

What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Planning Your Next Powder Day):

  • Welcome guests like fellow mountain enthusiasts, guiding them to the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings with confidence and care.
  • Provide personalized bootfitting so every person leaves feeling comfortable, supported, and ready for adventure.
  • Share your stoke and knowledge of the latest gear, keeping up with industry trends and passing that excitement on to guests.
  • Keep the shop vibe warm and inviting with clean, well-curated displays.
  • Create memorable experiences for beginners finding their first setup and experts chasing their next big line alike.
  • Be part of a team that has each other’s backs—pitching in wherever needed to keep the energy high and the shop running smoothly.
  • Other duties as assigned

What Makes You a Fit:

  • You’re outgoing, friendly, and can talk ski or board shop all day.
  • You love to ski or snowboard (or are eager to learn).
  • Flexible with your schedule — holidays, weekends, split shifts? No problem if it means more turns on the mountain.
  • You’re good on your feet (literally — standing for hours is no big deal) and can lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation
  • Strong English fluency (written and verbal)
