About Winholt Equipment


For more than 80 years, Winholt Equipment has been a leader in the custom manufacturing of food handling and preparation equipment. Our success comes from skilled craftsmanship, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Materials Handler to work in fast-paced distribution and manufacturing facility. Responsible for accurately picking customer orders and adhering to Winholt quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Pick customer order items and palletize them for same day shipping.
  • Use handheld EKW device to accurately scan products to track pick movements.
  • Utilize dimensioner to scan & weigh all outbound pallets.
  • Load outbound trailers with Winholt product for our customers.
  • Assist with unloading, inventory counts, and other areas of need when directed.
  • Ability to work daily overtime including Saturdays, as needed.


Skills


  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Able to climb, sit, stand and walk and to lift up to 60 lbs. independently
  • Able to communicate clearly and understand both written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
  • Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit; communicate in person and by phone
  • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a non‐temperature‐controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to wear required PPE such as eye protection and protective clothing
