What You'll Do

As a Powder Coat Technician, you'll help ensure high-quality finishes that meet Swift's standards for safety, appearance, and durability.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Prepare and clean surfaces, including wheels, for powder coating
  • Operate powder spray guns, sandblasting equipment, hoppers, booths, and conveyor systems
  • Monitor wash systems and cure/dry ovens to maintain proper operating conditions
  • Perform visual inspections and thickness testing to ensure coating quality
  • Meet departmental standards for quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the production process
  • Support additional shop duties as assigned
