JOIN OUR TEAM: CHICKEN FARM TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY: As a chicken technician you will manage activities focused on the care, growth, and welfare of our poultry flocks.
DAILY ROUTINE: Day-to-day responsibilities will center on active poultry flock management and high-quality farm maintenance:
  • Flock Care amp; Growth: Monitor animal health, set up houses for new flocks, manage water and feed line adjustments.
  • Environment: Maintain the ideal climate in the barns, wash fans, and clean feed bin pads to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Biosecurity amp; Sanitation: Perform daily mortality management (collection, recording, and composting/incineration), care for chick trays, and maintain bait stations.
  • Facility Maintenance: Handle minor repairs using hand-held drills.
  • Data Tracking: Log accurate daily totals for mortality and water consumption to help track flock health trends.
