Job description
Care New England is seeking a full time Oncology/Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our renowned Breast Health Center at Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.
At our Breast Health Center, we combine advanced technologies and a full array of treatment options including: mammography, breast MRI, surgery, genetic counseling and prevention, lymphedema, rehabilitation and survivorship programs. Our integrative therapy services offer nutritionists, navigators, therapy dogs and support groups to help ease a patient’s discomfort and better manage their journey body, mind and spirit.
- Join an established multispecialty breast health group, specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology care; prior medical oncology experience preferred
- Schedule: Monday – Friday days; no call
- Core responsibilities of Infusion Center provider include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, medication dosing, monitoring for adverse reactions, and providing education throughout treatment.

Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certified by ANCC or AANPCB.
- Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred
- Experience with chemotherapy administration and responding to toxicities related to treatment preferred
