You will be working in the MSSQL/Sybase database support team in Nashville.
We provide database support for MSSQL and SYBASE platforms within UBS organization globally. As a member of our team, you'll play an important role in providing the best-in-class database infrastructure and high performing database environment to our customers.
Your expertise
- proven experience working in large and complex database environments, ideally 5+ years in a similar role.
- good communicator, able to adapt style and detail to the audience.

- Experienced in high availability and disaster recovery solutions like Log Shipping, mirroring, replication, Always ON, setup/maintain/diagnose native.
- fluent in English
- Experienced in high availability and disaster recovery solutions like replication, DCO & heterogeneous replication.
- Familiar with UNIX platform system administration, knows Shell scripting/automation tools, exposure to PostgreSQL database administration tasks.
- Experienced supporting large infrastructure for incident/change management, strong collaboration skills and equally capable of managing shift alone. Good knowledge of ITIL concept, process and used ITIL oriented operational tools.
- Experience with Architecture review and Migration is a plus.
