Job description

Overview

We're looking to recruit a postdoc to our new lab at the RNA Therapeutics Institute. We study how RNA folding shapes gene expression, evolution, and disease by applying high-throughput experimental approaches (massively parallel assays, library design & construction, RNA structure probing, ...).

Responsibilities

The Schärfen lab uses high-throughput experimental and computational methods to studycauses and consequences of RNA structure formation. Our approaches are drawn fromfields including genomics, data science, systems biology, and biochemistry. We study RNAstructure mainly in vivo, using E. coli, yeast, and tissue culture cells as model systems.
