The Corporate Communications department at Publix spearheads internal communications and press releases, publishes monthly newsletters and annual benefits notices, handles department-specific communications, and manages digital content for Publix's internally facing platforms. Within the department, the User Experience (UX) Content Design Analyst leads the overall UX research strategy, gathers data-driven insights and defines key opportunities that influence our UX roadmaps and inform both content and design. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to persuade and achieve buy-in from others.
In Publix's corporate offices, we value in-person interactions, similar to those our store associates have with customers. Many of Publix's corporate offices offer work from home up to one day a week. Each business area implements their policy differently and should be discussed during interviews.
What you'll do
  • conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (usability testing, interviews, surveys, contextual inquiries) to identify user behaviors, needs and preferences
  • analyze and interpret data to identify user trends and gaps between business expectations and UX to develop design decisions, project roadmaps, journey maps, and presentations
  • create user personas and visualizations that reflect the diverse needs and behaviors of a product's user base and ensure different perspectives are considered in the design process
  • present UX insights and provide research to guide future roadmaps, project planning, decisions, and strategy execution

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human computer interaction, human factors, psychology, UX/UI/product design, computer science, information technology or related area or equivalent experience
  • at least four years of experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research or related area
  • basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • knowledge of usability testing software
  • expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys and usability testing
  • proficiency in data analysis techniques with experience in analyzing web analytics, user data and user feedback
  • familiarity with modern design research tools and frameworks for mapping user journeys and creating storyboards
  • proven track record in user research, design research or similar role in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment
  • experience in building consensus and influencing cross-functional teams to adopt data-driven insights
  • ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
  • must be at least 20 years old with a valid driver's license willing to operate a vehicle and have driving record verified

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in in human computer interaction, human factors, psychology, UX/UI/product design, computer science, information technology or related area
  • six or more years of experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research or related area
  • UX research or design certifications
  • intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • knowledge of Figma
  • knowledge of conversational Spanish
