HR Coordinator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Lexington, KY

Reports To: HR Director

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, ensuring efficient HR service delivery and a positive employee experience. This role supports onboarding, employee inquiries, HR data management, recruiting activities, compliance efforts, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
  • Support recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and candidate communications.
  • Prepare reports, maintain files, and assist with compliance and audit activities.
  • Coordinate training, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director and site leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Qualifications

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. · 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or customer service experience preferred. · Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems. · Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. · Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers and telephones. · Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. · Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 15 pounds. · Ability to move throughout the facility to support employees and attend meetings.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with regular interaction with employees, managers, and visitors. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional flexibility based on business needs.
