Summary
Operating Title Postdoctoral Research Associate Long Classification Title Campus Location Durham Department UNH Space Science Center Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the Project Director, conduct research in magnetospheric physics and space weather using data from NASA's Magnetospheric Multi-Scale (MMS) mission and upcoming SWFO-L1 space weather mission. This includes data analysis, the preparation of publications and presentations.
Additional Job Information Posting Number PF0785FY23 Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Physics with specialization in Magnetospheric or affiliated space physics field. Proficiency in the use of data processing and visualization tools including IDL, MatLab, and/or Python.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with hardware and calibration of space science instrumentation is highly desirable.
