Join a Growing Leader in Pet Nutrition
A well-established pet food manufacturer in Northern Indiana is seeking an experienced Nutritionist to join its team. This role is responsible for supporting formulation development, nutritional analysis, ingredient evaluation, and quality initiatives while partnering closely with Quality, Production, Procurement, and Operations to ensure products meet nutritional, regulatory, and performance standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nutrition professional looking to make a direct impact on product innovation while working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate nutritionally balanced pet food formulations.
  • Analyze ingredients and recommend formulation improvements based on nutritional performance and cost optimization.
  • Research ingredient innovations and emerging trends within the pet food industry.
  • Ensure formulations comply with AAFCO, FDA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, formulation records, and nutritional reports.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Procurement, and R&D teams to optimize product performance.
  • Support product trials, manufacturing validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical nutritional expertise to internal stakeholders.
