Job description

Renda Building Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Post Frame Building Fabricator to support our framing crews by preparing building material packages in our warehouse facility. This position plays a key role in keeping field crews productive and prepared by accurately cutting, organizing, and staging materials for upcoming projects.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with lumber and construction materials, takes pride in accuracy and efficiency, and works well in a fast-paced team environment. This position is primarily warehouse-based; however, occasional field work may be required to support framing crews, assist on larger projects, or help fill in during staffing or scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut lumber and building materials according to project plans
  • Prepare complete material packages for framing crews to install in the field
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, cut sheets, and material lists
  • Organize and label materials for efficient loading and installation
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and maintaining inventory organization
  • Operate saws, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Keep warehouse and fabrication areas clean, organized, and production-ready
  • Communicate with Project Managers and field crews regarding material needs or shortages
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain quality standards

Qualifications

  • Construction, carpentry, framing, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Experience using power tools and saws preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
