The Role
As an Architect, you will be performing project-based engineering, installation and troubleshooting of data, wireless and security networks. You will provide delivery engineering services to successfully implement secure network solutions for medium to large complex environments that result in exceptional client experiences.
Travel Requirements:
In this role you will be expected to travel up to 30% and will be based in Florida (South or Central).
Job Responsibilities:
  • Working with the engineering team to successfully architect and lead the implementation of secure network solutions
  • Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks
  • Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in medium to large environments
  • Wireless configuration and deployment in medium to large environments
  • Provide network engineering consulting services, including assessment, and implementation of complex data and secure networking environments
  • Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively perform the implementation process from initial implementation to customer acceptance
  • Deliver services that offer an exceptional client experience

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Over all 7 years or more of experience in network engineering and network design
  • Cloud Networking (AWS experience required or relevant Azure experience)
  • 3 years of related experience with project deliverables from a VAR/Integrator
  • Knowledge and experience with implementation, support and design of the following:

    • Firewalls/VPNs (Cisco is a must, Palo Alto, Fortinet etc. are optional)
    • Wireless networks (Cisco is a must, Arista, Aruba, or Juniper is optional)
    • Routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must, Arista, Aruba, or Juniper is optional)

  • 7+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks

Additional Desired Skills:
  • CCIE or similar certification
  • Strong industry knowledge and expertise in building comprehensive solutions
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff at client sites
  • Ability to quickly build good relationships and gain client confidence
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
  • Ability to lead an engineering project team from a technical perspective
  • Prior experience working closely with customers and collaborating with IT staff
  • Must be pro-active
