LOCATION DETAILS: This role is based onsite in Southampton, MA, at the CLI Conservatory.


PAY RATE: The budgeted salary range for this role is $115,000-$120,000.


The salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.

ABOUT CLI STUDIOS:

We are on a mission to make dance education more accessible to aspirational students around the world using a mix of technology, innovative thinking, and an amazing, mission-driven team!


Through our online training program, dancers around the world can take over 1,500 classes from top dance instructors from New York and Los Angeles. For more advanced students, we offer the CLI Conservatory, an extensive in-person training program where dancers launch their professional careers with training and support from over 100 world-renowned choreographers.


Our team is a collaboration between world-class performing artists (e.g. multi-season stars from SYTYCD), technologists, startup operators, and more. We believe business and art are not mutually exclusive. In fact, it is the melding of these two worlds that has made us the bold, creative force we are today. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Production Manager is responsible for producing high-quality, professional video content that elevates the brand across digital, social media, marketing, and event platforms. This position creates polished, broadcast-quality visual storytelling that engages audiences and supports business objectives while providing creative leadership across productions.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the CLI Conservatory production team on media days, black box films, student showcases, creative films, and end-of-year shows.
  • Serve as creative director on media projects, leading production and post-production through distribution.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director on overall media strategy.
  • Develop and execute the long-term video production strategy.
  • Establish creative standards and production quality expectations.
  • Serve as the organization's creative leader for video storytelling.
  • Recommend new technologies, equipment, and production workflows.
  • Build annual production roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead creative concept development from ideation through delivery.
  • Direct creative vision for promotional, educational, livestream, and branded content. Ensure consistency in visual identity and brand standards.
  • Partner with artistic leadership to translate concepts into compelling visual experiences.
  • Film and edit Conservatory classes and promotional content.
  • Support Fall, Winter, and Summer Intensive production needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills.
  • Advanced videography experience across multiple camera systems.
  • Experience leading production and post-production teams.

Education, Certification and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of advanced videography and video editing experience.
  • Prior production experience working with dancers in a dance studio environment is required.
Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

Professional office and dance studio environment requiring prolonged standing, filming, editing, and operation of production equipment.


Travel

Travel as needed for Conservatory projects.
