Schedule: Casual
Job Summary:
The Courier is responsible for providing transport of supplies, mail, equipment, medications, and or specimens between the hospital and Insight Coldwater clinics. Couriers may at times transport items to or from other businesses.
Duties:
  • Arrives at work on time and checks voicemails
  • Picks up mail from Post Office and sorts mail
  • Logs into Vocera system as Coldwater Courier
  • Responds to Pharmacy requests to deliver meds to Oncology
  • Responds to requests from Oncology for specimen delivery
  • Responds to requests from Urology to transport scopes
  • Responds to requests from Central Sterile to deliver scopes to Urology
  • Makes rounds to on campus clinics to pick up and or deliver items
  • Assists Materials Management with delivery of supplies as time allows
  • Responds to requests from Facilities for parts runs
  • Inspects vehicle for damage and ensures it has adequate fuel
  • Picks up and drops off linens, money bags and mail as necessary
  • Delivers O2 cylinders to clinics - ensures cylinder is properly secured for transport
  • Follows dress code guidelines

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to details
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills while interacting with others
  • Excellent written communications skills for reporting issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
