Job description

Our client, a respected and growing skilled nursing facility (SNF) operator across the Western United States, is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to lead the financial and administrative operations of their skilled nursing facilities within post-acute care.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership. You'll walk into an established, well-functioning business office and be trusted to lead it with precision, integrity, and heart.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the full revenue cycle - from admission contracts through final collection - across Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay
  • Lead and develop the business office team, providing day-to-day guidance, training, and performance oversight
  • Prepare and present key financial reports to facility administration and the corporate office
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and families regarding billing, financial inquiries, and payment arrangements — handling every conversation with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensure all business office operations remain in strict compliance with federal, state, and company regulations; support financial audits as needed
  • Manage or supervise payroll processing and accounts payable functions with accuracy and timeliness
  • Leverage facility software systems (PointClickCare, Matrix) and identify ongoing opportunities to improve processes and financial performance

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility, LTACH, or comparable healthcare environment
  • Expert knowledge of the SNF revenue cycle, including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and third-party billing
  • Proficiency with healthcare financial software — PointClickCare experience is a strong plus
  • A track record of leading administrative teams with confidence and clarity
  • Sharp analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • The highest level of discretion when handling confidential resident and financial information
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills across all stakeholder levels — residents, families, and corporate partners alike

Why This Role

  • Walk into stability - established systems, a strong team, and a well-run operation from day one
  • Real autonomy - you'll have the authority to run your department and the support of a collaborative leadership team
  • Strategic seat at the table - your work directly impacts the financial health of the facility

Ready to bring your expertise to a team that will trust you to lead? Apply today - we'd love to connect and tell you more about this opportunity.
