Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes patient comfort and care, infection control, and professional growth. The Dental Assistant will be instrumental in delivering high-quality dental services for various procedures. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix and Dexis Imaging software is preferred to streamline medical documentation and records management.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience

  • Apply infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in compliance with OSHA standards

Experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred - willing to train the proper candidate
  • Proficiency with dental EMR systems such as Dentrix and Dexis is advantageous
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and dental imaging procedures including X-ray technology
  • Familiarity with dentistry practices and procedures is a plus
  • Certification or training in chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry techniques, and radiography is desirable
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical records management is essential for success in this role with strong organizational skills
