Event Security Supervisor - Large-Scale Convention
Location: Anaheim, CA
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour (DOE)
Dates: September 3rd, 2026 to September 13th, 2026
Employment Type:
Temporary / Special Event
Schedule: Multiple shifts available, including Day, Swing, and Graveyard. Shift lengths may range from 8-12 hours, including weekends.
Position Overview
Treston Security Services is actively hiring experienced Event Security Supervisors to support a large-scale, high-profile convention in Anaheim, California.
We are seeking dependable leaders who can effectively supervise security personnel, maintain a safe and professional environment, and support smooth event operations. Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing assigned teams, enforcing post orders, responding to incidents, and maintaining consistent communication with event leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals seeking a leadership role within a fast-paced convention environment.
Essential Job Duties
  • Supervise and lead assigned Event Security Officers throughout the shift.
  • Conduct roll calls, shift briefings, and officer deployments.
  • Ensure officers follow all post orders, company policies, uniform standards, and client expectations.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned officers and designated posts.
  • Monitor access points, exhibit halls, registration areas, lobbies, and other assigned event zones.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and guest concerns.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to officers throughout the assignment.
  • Coordinate with event management, venue personnel, law enforcement, and Treston leadership when necessary.
  • Complete incident reports, shift activity logs, and required supervisor documentation.
  • Maintain clear and professional radio communication.
  • Assist with crowd management, line control, guest direction, and emergency procedures.
  • Escalate staffing, safety, or operational concerns to management promptly.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid California Guard Card (Required)
  • Previous security, event, venue, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to provide direction and hold assigned officers accountable.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in crowded or high-pressure environments.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Lead Officer, Field Supervisor, or Post Commander.
  • Convention, entertainment venue, or large-scale event security experience.
  • Experience supervising multiple security officers during live events.
  • Strong report-writing and incident-documentation skills.
  • Experience using two-way radios and coordinating with multiple departments.
