ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: CPN Health Service Pharmacy

SUPERVISOR: Pharmacy Coordinator

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY: BOE

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:     In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.  

CPN   Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening.


Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for all operational functions of the assigned pharmacy site including, but not limited to filling prescriptions,   coordination with clinic and department leadership and maintaining inventory:

Fills prescriptions

Maintains patient profiles, inventory and prices in computer.

Researches and recommends additions to formulary.

Responsible for ordering drugs and medications   for pharmacy and clinic.

Processes invoices for payment.

Counsels' patients and answers questions regarding prescriptions.

Communicates with medical providers regarding medications.

Take inventory count as required.

Maintain proficiency in working with electronic health records (EHR), and pharmacy software.

Supervises assigned clinic pharmacy staff

Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

Manage the day to day operations of the pharmacy and the pharmacy personnel

Coordinate pharmacy operations with P-I-C's, Clinic managers & Health Services Director


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Current Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy License.


Physical   Requirements

May require prolonged standing, bending, stretching and some lifting.

Repetitive computer work.


Preferred Skills

Ability to communicate well with patients, medical providers and other staff.

Ability to work independently.
