Name of Employer: Catalyst Brands LLC
Position Title: Engineer 2 - POS Tester
Position Location: 6501 Legacy Drive, Suite B100, Plano, TX 75024
Salary: $129,022 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
• Perform POS application and hardware level testing while operating in an Agile environment.
• Perform test cases, capture output and effectively perform analysis while providing detailed observations or behaviors.
• Utilize JIRA to capture observations while documenting the appropriate recreate steps.
• Work closely with the development team for any testing needs.
• Create service level testing plans utilizing Postman or similar automated testing software.
• Work directly with other JCPenney IT associates as well as JCPenney business customers to create test strategies, execute test activities and provide detailed analysis.
• Perform lab management/oversight.
• Create test strategies, scripts and plans to ensure testing capabilities are first in class.
Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent.
Experience requirements:
5 years of experience in software testing and POS hardware testing in any occupation in which the required experience is gained.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
2 years of experience must include:
• Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, UL, Eggplant, and TestNG.
• Automating test cases to reduce manual testing, writing test cases and test scripts, executing test scripts, defect reporting and analysis, and utilizing Selenium Automation Framework.
• Creating Web service API level testing plans utilizing Postman.
1 year of experience must include:
• Agile Scrum methodology and Jira.
• Interpreting and analyzing test results and creating stories and bugs reported in Jira.
