Job description

POINT OF SALE TEAM LEAD: Senior Cashier and Hourly Lead working in the Service Center and responsible for customer relations at the service window and store office and accounting procedures. This person's primary duties includes direct supervision of the store's Cash Office, Cashiers, Baggers, CLAG, Pick-Up Lane, and parking lot activity; customer relations, interviewing potential applicants, scheduling for baggers and cashiers, evaluations of subordinate employees, check management, cash management, cash drawer security, store banking, office balance, store accounting, Ohio Direct Transactions, and bank card transactions. Responsible for front end operations including weekly ads, advantage sale programs and bonus buys as well as general housekeeping. Must be organized, able to prioritize and follow through with tasks assigned. Provide support for training programs. Willing to open and close the store as needed. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including the direct customer services provided in or by the Service Center.
  1. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
  2. Previous Work Experience: Demonstrated leadership ability with 2 - 3 years experience in Service Center, Cashier, and Cash office. Background in phones and computers required.
  3. Physical Demands: Walking, bending, stooping, carrying, loading, pulling and pushing with repetitive lifting to 40#; occasional lifting to 60#.
