Job description

AmeriLux is Hiring! Turn retail data into decisions. You'll analyze sales, inventory, and returns across our retail partners to grow sales, improve margins, cut returns, and keep inventory lean. You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain, and you'll be measured by the business improvements your insights drive, not the number of reports you produce.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze POS, sales, inventory, and return data from partners including Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Do it Best, True Value, Ace, House-Hasson, ILDC, RONA, and Home Hardware
  • Build dashboards and reports that surface trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Investigate returns to root cause: product defects, shipping damage, packaging, or content errors
  • Evaluate products by sales, margin, turns, and customer feedback to recommend assortment changes, enhancements, or discontinuations
  • Measure promo effectiveness and shape future merchandising strategy
  • Analyze inventory, forecasting, and system settings to improve availability and reduce excess
  • Track competitor pricing and market trends to find growth opportunities
  • Monitor and communicate key KPIs: sales growth, gross margin, inventory turns, fill rates, returns, and in-stock performance

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 3 to 5 years in retail analytics, business intelligence, merchandising, category management, or sales analytics
  • Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP); Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A "why" mindset: you dig for the insight, then push it into a recommendation people act on

Benefits

The AmeriLux benefits package includes a nationally award winning zero-dollar deductible healthcare plan created to ensure peace of mind and comprehensive care for all A-Team family members. Our onsite healthcare clinic, free to all team members, provides convenient access to high-quality medical care with a personalized touch from physicians who take the time to get to know you. In addition, we offer comprehensive dental and vision insurance, as well as disability and life insurance to ensure you and your family are protected. Our benefit plan includes a 401(k) match, employee assistance program, paid time off, and flex spending account access.
