Job Summary
The Xstore QA Lead will support the implementation of Oracle Xstore POS by leading QA strategy, test planning, manual testing reviews, and test automation activities. The role will focus on strengthening existing test coverage, identifying testing gaps, and supporting a successful production go-live. Following implementation, the role may contribute to broader enterprise test automation initiatives across Oracle Xstore, Oracle EBS, and other retail applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead QA activities for the Oracle Xstore POS implementation.
• Develop and execute the overall QA strategy and test plan.
• Provide QA leadership and coordinate testing activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Review existing manual test cases and scripts to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Strengthen existing test scripts to improve functional and regression test coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Oracle XUnit.
• Support POS functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Track testing progress, defects, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, business, and implementation teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, and validation of fixes.
• Ensure testing activities align with production readiness and go-live objectives.
• Contribute to post-implementation test automation initiatives across Oracle Xstore, Oracle EBS, and other retail applications.
• Identify opportunities to expand and standardize enterprise-wide test automation capabilities.
Required Qualifications
• Strong QA leadership experience with responsibility for test strategy, planning, and execution.
• Hands-on experience testing Oracle Xstore POS implementations.
• Experience with POS functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle XUnit test automation.
• Strong experience reviewing and improving manual and automated test scripts.
• Ability to identify testing gaps and develop appropriate test coverage.
• Experience managing defects, testing risks, and production-readiness activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, functional, technical, and QA teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle EBS.
• Experience supporting enterprise retail applications.
