Summary:

Responsible for growing and maintaining client relationships, in an existing portfolio of enterprise level customers. through a consultative selling approach to cross-selling value-added services, including card processing, ACH, fraud mitigation, POS (point of service) systems, etc. ensuring all risk, regulatory and profitability goals are met. Will work with commercial customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow and maintain client relationships, in an existing portfolio of enterprise level customers. through a consultative selling approach to cross-selling value-added services, including card processing, ACH, fraud mitigation, POS (point of service) systems, etc. ensuring all risk, regulatory and profitability goals are met.  Will work with commercial customers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial and large account clients, building long-term relationships and delivering strategic payment solutions.  Present strategic recommendations and performance reviews to C-level stakeholders, demonstrating clear business value and ROI.
  • Lead complex sales engagements with a consultative approach. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with precision and professionalism.
  • Work closely with internal teams including product, operations, and compliance to ensure seamless delivery and support of merchant services.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to proactively advise clients and influence internal strategy.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, accounting, or economics
  • 10+ years successful merchant services, payments for financial technology relationship or sales experience.
  • 3+ years management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success managing large or complex accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell the spectrum of payments products (card processing, ACH, fraud mitigation, point of sales system, etc.), create brand awareness and successfully generate meaningful new client relationships in specified commercial space.
  • Deep knowledge of payment products and industry applications 
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Consultative mindset with a passion for solving client challenges.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
  • Proficient using O365, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as treasury technology and systems
  • Master’s degree (MBA or similar) in a relevant field
  • Established network of industry contacts and involvement in industry associations

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
