The Senior Architect, Toshiba POS will lead the architecture and technical strategy for next-generation retail point-of-sale solutions, focusing on Toshiba POS platforms across terminal, self-checkout, and mobile POS environments. This role combines deep technical leadership with hands-on design and development expertise in Java, microservice architecture, React, and AI, driving the creation of scalable, modern greenfield applications that enhance retail experiences.
Key responsibilities
• Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for Toshiba POS solutions, including terminal, self-checkout, and mobile POS channels.
• Lead design, integration, and implementation of Java-based services and microservice architecture patterns.
• Drive front-end architecture and user experience delivery using React for customer-facing and associate-facing applications.
• Architect and guide greenfield application development, establishing solution structure, standards, and technical direction.
