Location: Onsite – Miami, FL

We’re seeking a hands-on Mid-Level Network & Systems Administrator to support a hybrid Cisco/Microsoft infrastructure across headquarters and distributed locations.

This is an execution-focused role within a 16-person IT team. You will maintain and troubleshoot network, server, and endpoint systems — ensuring uptime, security, and operational stability. You will not be acting as an enterprise architect, but you will be expected to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.

Core Responsibilities
Cisco / Meraki Network Operations
Administer Cisco Meraki (MX/MS/MR) environments

Configure and manage VLAN segmentation (POS, corporate, guest)

Create and modify firewall rules and ACLs

Support site-to-site VPN connectivity

Perform switch swaps and new location network setups

Troubleshoot DHCP/DNS, routing, and network connectivity

Utilize Cisco CLI for diagnostics and validation

Monitor network performance and respond to alerts

Deep Cisco architecture design is not required, but solid operational competency is expected.

Active Directory & Hybrid Identity
Manage on-prem Active Directory

Create and troubleshoot Group Policies

Support Azure AD / Entra ID synchronization

Administer identity and access controls

Troubleshoot hybrid identity issues

Endpoint & Device Management
Administer Microsoft Intune policies

Deploy and manage endpoint configurations

Support Autopilot provisioning (if applicable)

Enforce compliance and security policies

Troubleshoot remote policy enforcement issues

Server & Infrastructure Operations
Administer Windows Server (2019+)

Maintain DNS and DHCP services

Support NAS and backup environments

Perform server patch management

Maintain system uptime and operational resilience

IIS & Application Infrastructure Support
Support Microsoft IIS-hosted applications

Configure and troubleshoot IIS application pools and bindings

Diagnose connectivity and performance issues related to IIS

Coordinate with application and database teams when required

This is not a developer role, but the ability to troubleshoot IIS-related infrastructure issues is required.

SQL Server Performance & Indexing Support
Understand SQL Server indexing fundamentals

Assist with identifying performance bottlenecks

Support basic indexing adjustments under guidance

Coordinate with database administrators when deeper optimization is required

This is not a DBA role, but familiarity with SQL performance impact and indexing concepts is expected.

POS & Distributed Location Support
Support POS-related VLAN segmentation and policies

Ensure proper network access controls for retail/store environments

Troubleshoot connectivity and local infrastructure issues

Monitoring & Ticket Ownership
Respond to infrastructure monitoring alerts

Participate in round-robin ticketing environment

Maintain high responsiveness and ownership

Collaborate with security, systems, and service desk teams

Required Qualifications
4–8 years of infrastructure experience

Hands-on Cisco Meraki administration

VLAN and firewall rule configuration experience

Active Directory and Group Policy management

Azure AD hybrid experience

Intune administration experience

Windows Server administration

IIS support experience

Working knowledge of SQL indexing fundamentals

Strong troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multi-site retail environments

POS network segmentation experience

VMware virtualization exposure

Veeam or enterprise backup systems

PowerShell scripting
