To learn more, visit www.blueowl.comThis role is in office Monday to Friday.**The Role**Within our Global Private Wealth business, we are seeking a dynamic and highly commercial portfolio strategist to join the Global Portfolio Solutions & Strategy (GPSS) team, based in New York, to drive the growth of our private offerings with many of the largest private banks and wealth management firms in US, EMEA and APAC. The primary focus will be on Blue Owlโ€™s Real Assets platform, including triple net lease, digital infrastructure and real estate finance. The successful candidate will serve as a commercial partner to the global private wealth sales team and will facilitate connectivity between client engagements, investment teams, and marketing. The portfolio strategist will be a client-facing technical expert in net lease real estate, demonstrating an ability to understand and effectively communicate detailed investment content to various due diligence and research teams, financial advisors, and end-clients.**Responsibilities*** Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our real estate products, their features, functionalities, and benefits.* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and key positioning/deal themes at the portfolio level.* Serve as a client facing subject matter expert (SME) to expand fund adoption through presenting at client meetings, roadshows, industry conferences, sales and due diligence calls, etc.* Support fundraising channels by disseminating timely information and data regarding our offerings, presenting relevant fund updates and insights, and answering questions pertaining to broader market dynamics* Maintain close working relationship with the investment team to enable accurate representation of strategies, perspectives, and opportunity set* Monitor competitive landscape by continuous analysis of our competitors and draft competitive positioning points for sales team* Partner with Private Wealth Marketing team to develop and execute region-specific sales and educational content, including market commentary, product positioning, competitive landscape, and case studies.* Partner with product development on the evaluation of new investment strategies, sizing new market opportunities, and identifying enhancements to our product offering**Qualifications*** Investment and markets acumen, with a depth of experience in real estate* Demonstrated ability to write effectively and strong communication and presentation skills* Energetic communicator with the ability to develop rapport, excitement, and trust with internal stakeholders and external clients* Proven track record in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, e.g., partnering with sales, marketing, investments, product strategy, and compliance at all levels* Results driven with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence* Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and ethics* Strong organizational skills: ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate across geographically diverse teams in a fast-paced environment* 7+ years professional experience in asset management (private markets preferred)* BA/BS degree required with strong quantitative skills; CFA/CAIA/MBA a plus* Familiarity with markets, securities, investment strategies and the relevant regulatory framework* European languages would be an advantage* This position is based in New York* Expect travel 1-2 weeks of travel per monthIt is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $150,000 to $200,000.
