Job description

Leidos is seeking an ambitious and outgoing Residential Contractor Network Manager for our Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. As the Residential Contractor Network Manager, you will work to develop and maintain a skilled, diverse, and engaged contractor network that supports the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program making Energy Efficiency accessible, scalable, and impactful.

You will support Program contractors through direct engagement, practical training, and concierge on-boarding. Meet contractors 'where they are', provide clear pathways into the Program, and offer hands-on support that builds trust, capability, and long-term meaningful partnership.

The Residential Contractor Network Manager serves as a coordinating resource for all parties that interact with program contractors. The Residential Contractor Network Manager will provide general program contractor oversight, direction, and follow-up, as well as strategic guidance to program contractors and the Portfolio Program Ally Manager. The Residential Contractor Network Manager will assist with driving contractor network performance as it relates to training, education, program requirements, retention and industry requirements.

The Residential Contractor Network Manager will report directly to the Portfolio Program Ally Manager and will also collaborate closely with the Ameren Illinois Residential Program Managers and Field Team.

Location: Ameren Illinois and Leidos believe it is very important to provide employment opportunity to the utility ratepayers that reside in Illinois. Therefore, there is strong preference for the successful candidate to be located in the Ameren Illinois service territory.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy and day-to-day management of the Residential Program Ally contractor network across the Ameren Illinois service territory, ensuring adequate regional and trade coverage to support program performance.
  • Direct contractor recruitment, onboarding, enrollment, and ongoing engagement, with a strategic emphasis on expanding Building Envelope (Insulation) participation.
  • Assess network gaps by region, trade discipline, and program demand; develop and execute targeted recruitment plans in coordination with program implementers and stakeholders.
  • Manage enrollment documentation (W-9, insurance, ICC verification), certification status, orientation coordination, participation agreements and data integrity within Aleet (Salesforce).
  • Provide responsive and collaborative contractor support, including program guidance, incentive updates, performance feedback, and issue resolution in support of field teams as needed.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop outreach campaigns and messaging to attract and retain high-performing contractors.
  • Identify and promote training and continuing education opportunities to strengthen contractor capability, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Oversee contractor data management and reporting, tracking participation, production, and performance metrics to inform program strategy.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience implementing energy efficiency or contractor-driven programs; or 5+ years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting contractor service delivery and/or energy efficiency program implementation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience improving processes, managing documentation, and maintaining organized program records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project or program management experience.
  • BPI, LEED, or similar industry certification.
