Job Title: Senior Manager, Enterprise Capital & Infrastructure Portfolio Governance
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and disciplined Senior Manager of Portfolio Operations to lead the governance, planning, and performance management of a complex multi-million dollar portfolio. This role oversees the integration of technical operations, facilities initiatives, and infrastructure projects, ensuring that capital investments are prioritized and executed in alignment with enterprise objectives. As a key advisor to senior leadership, you will drive transparency across the portfolio, manage capital demand, and provide the actionable insights necessary for executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Portfolio Governance: Lead the day-to-day management of the enterprise portfolio. Establish intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and review cadences for technical and infrastructure investments.
โ€ข Capital Planning & Financial Oversight: Direct the evaluation of proposed initiatives and funding requests. Partner with Finance and Procurement to track approved investments, manage capital utilization, and support long-range financial planning.
โ€ข Executive Reporting & Insights: Oversee the development of recurring dashboards, scorecards, and executive summaries. Analyze project health, resource constraints, and delivery risks to identify trends for leadership attention.
โ€ข Stakeholder Leadership: Facilitate steering committees and investment reviews. Drive alignment across technical operations, facilities, and business leaders to resolve competing priorities and resource bottlenecks.
โ€ข Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively surface and address critical operational concerns. Coordinate across functions to minimize delivery risk and operational disruption for major technical efforts.
โ€ข Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and develop PMO team members, providing quality oversight and coaching to ensure excellence in portfolio work products.
โ€ข Continuous Improvement: Lead the evolution of governance templates, reporting tools, and operating procedures to improve execution consistency and decision quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
โ€ข Experience: * Minimum of 8 years in portfolio management, PMO leadership, capital planning, or technical operations.
โ€ข At least 3 years of experience in people leadership or leading enterprise-level cross-functional initiatives.
โ€ข Technical Mastery:
โ€ข Deep knowledge of portfolio governance frameworks and project/program management (PPM) practices.
โ€ข High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and modern portfolio reporting systems.
โ€ข Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze complex financial and operational data, translating it into actionable recommendations for executive audiences.
โ€ข Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a proven ability to create polished, "executive-ready" presentations and decision support materials.
