The Poker Operations Associate oversees the day-to-day, on-site customer experience across North American platforms. They are primarily responsible for the hands on keys execution of game and promotional configurations, visual asset and merchandising updates
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
  • Configure and deploy poker games and promotions ensuring that all offerings and game attributes are executed consistently and accurately with principles and standards of the Poker Operations department
  • Set and adjust tournament guarantees based on analysis of historic and forecasted results in coordination with wider commercial strategy
  • Recommend changes to the poker offering to optimize it to North American market needs based on liquidity and player preferences
  • Service and advise internal customers in the creation of requested games and promotional configurations accurately and on time
  • Coordinate visual assets delivery and merchandising refreshes ensuring frictionless player journeys and accurate messaging across platforms
  • Provide timely reports regarding performance to management as required
  • Handle escalations from internal teams for a variety of poker and software/technical issues
  • Maintains awareness and derivers insights through following industry news, competitor activities and developments in the poker, gaming, and at-home entertainment sectors.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
  • 2+ years of experience in a gaming, operations or analytics role preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or commensurate online gaming industry experience
  • Exhaustive knowledge of poker, including all game and betting variations, industry trends, online operators and offerings, and understanding of the basics of game theory
  • In-depth experience with regulated North American Poker apps/software, including game catalog, features and promotions
  • Significant experience playing online poker
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in-person and across various digital formats
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and arguments clearly and efficiently in writing
  • Willingness to work long and often unusual hours
  • Intermediate or better Microsoft Word, Excel and other business productivity software skills
  • Prior experience interacting with complex systems
  • Ability and willingness to educate internal partners on the nuances of poker
  • Mission driven and team focused with demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects

The applicable salary range for this position is $66,000 - $83,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
