Job Summary
This role will support the Margaritaville Vacation Club marketing operations including setting up new marketing partnerships within Margaritaville Hotels & Resorts, overseeing vendor relationships and leading the Margaritaville at Sea cruise operations. This role will be a hybrid role (onboard ship requirements and in office/remote requirements).
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• This role will be responsible for:
o Margaritaville Vacation Club Marketing Operations - On Land
• Grow marketing operations by establishing additional marketing opportunities within Margaritaville Hotel and Resorts.
• Manage relationships with hotel General Managers and oversee marketing operations to ensure teams are operating within brand guidelines and deliver exceptional guest experience while driving business results.
• Manage multiple vendor relationships for Margaritaville Vacation Club face-to-face packages sales teams. Ensure vendor teams are following processes / procedures/ policies, while meeting performance expectations.
• Work collaboratively with AVP Retail Package Sales for Margaritaville hotel & resort locations.
• Work collaboratively with Director of Sales & Marketing contact center for package activations support and Director of Sales & Marketing leaders at new and existing Margaritaville branded locations.
• Provide guidance on optimization of revenue and strategic direction of future package sales.
• Establish processes with field locations to ensure brand standards are followed and audited.
o Margaritaville Marketing Operations - At Sea
• Communication liaison with the Margaritaville at Sea shipboard operations team, Margaritaville Vacation Club corporate team and the onboard marketing vendor leadership team.
• Monitor and ensure alignment of all MVAS practices in compliance with our agreement.
• Creating the operations schedule for each sailing. This includes setting the timing of all Margaritaville Vacation Club events (raffles, marketing hours, etc.) and the onboard location for each event. This includes coordinating with the Margaritaville at Sea Cruise Director to ensure T+L schedule does not overlap with key shipboard events. Any new ideas or process changes require to be written out and submitted to Margaritaville at Sea shipboard team for approval prior to implementation. • Responsible for providing Nightly reports to include, but not limited to, number of packages booked, rectifying room charges to purchases and performance by agent to SVP Margaritaville
• Performing quality control audits of all Margaritaville Vacation Club processes and operations activities that occur at sea. This is to ensure any vendor or T+L associate adheres to established processes and acts within the Margaritaville brand and T+L guidelines.
• Document any customer service escalations via email and follow up with appropriate communication and / or phone calls as needed. Ensure escalation has been resolved through to resolution.
• Perform administrative functions as needed:
• Setup and book all vendor and/or T+L associate cabins prior to each sailing
• Ensuring all requirements and documents are met for vendors/associates to participate in cruise
• Handling invoices for room charges and submitting appropriately
• Ensuring all invoices are tracked and submitted for payment processing in a timely manner
• Ensuring all associates have required equipment / uniforms / signed paperwork
• Onboarding vendor and/or T+L associates on cruise to the Margaritaville brand
• Provide monthly reporting on cruise operations, package sales and performance
Travel Requirements
50% - 75% travel required to travel onboard Margaritaville at Sea alternating cruises (routes and lengths of sailing with varying itineraries - ranging from 4 to 7-night sailings) once per month and site visits within the Margaritaville Vacation Club operations on land
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred (business or related field)
Training requirements

Knowledge and skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills and proven leadership experience.
• Strong people skills with the ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies, business functions and within different companies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate decisions and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
• Capable of conflict resolution and customer service escalations.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and make effective decisions that align with company's direction
• Margaritaville Vacation Club mini-vacation package product knowledge a plus
Technical Skills
• Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint
• Journey, WSA Worksheet, E-worksheet, E-credit systems knowledge preferred but not required
Job experience
• 7+ years in timeshare or hospitality sales and marketing preferred
• Management/supervisory experience required
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
