Job description

About XYPN
XYPN Sapphire is an SEC registered investment advisor offering a comprehensive platform for independent, fee-only financial advisors. We offer two services, a TAMP and Corporate RIA. The TAMP offering is for advisors who keep their own state- or SEC-registered investment advisory practices and outsource the trading and back office operations. The Corporate RIA offers a completely different model for members to operate their firms under, freeing them of compliance, investment, and other burdens of running their firms independently.
About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Portfolio Associate to join our growing investment team. This role is designed for an investment professional interested in developing toward portfolio management responsibilities while gaining hands-on experience across trading, portfolio implementation, investment research, and advisor support.
As a Portfolio Associate, you will be responsible for executing trades and portfolio changes for a group of advisors while supporting investment research, due diligence, and portfolio analysis efforts. You'll play an important role in helping ensure portfolios are implemented accurately and efficiently, while developing a deep understanding of portfolio management through direct involvement in both investment decision-making and execution.
You'll also serve as a knowledgeable resource for advisors on portfolio implementation, investment models, and platform offerings, and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve the efficiency and scalability of our investment platform.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical thinking, values precision and accuracy, and is excited to build investment, trading, and advisor-facing skills.
Where We Hire: We're excited to review applications from across the U.S., but we give priority to candidates residing in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, TX, UT, WA and WI

  • Lead or contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the investment team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance trading workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support the needs of the Investment Policy Committee with data and project work
