C.H. Robinsonis hiring an Associate Portfolio Executive to build and manage a customer portfolio while developing longterm, trusted relationships. In this role, you will leverage AIpowered tools to simplify quoting, planning, and scheduling-so you can focus on selling, problemsolving, and growing revenue. You will operate with autonomy while being backed by the scale, technology, and credibility of a global supply chain leader. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and grow a portfolio of customers, strengthening relationships and uncovering needs to convert opportunities into active business.

  • Re-engage dormant accounts and expand within existing customers to increase volume, revenue, and wallet share.

  • Own day-to-day customer interactions by responding quickly to questions, managing exceptions and escalations, and resolving conflict professionally.

  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal partners to meet customer commitments and service expectations.

  • Quote and price freight, applying negotiation skills, market insight, and customer buying patterns to execute pricing strategy.

  • Plan, build, and execute shipments (with AI agent support) aligned to customer expectations

  • Identify account growth potential and cultivate transactional relationships into more committed, repeatable partnerships supported by business development resources.

  • Use data, reporting, and market/customer updates to uncover service and growth opportunities and inform daily priorities.

  • Improve how work gets done by adopting new tools/technology, identifying automation opportunities, and helping document and follow SOPs.

  • Operate with urgency and a team-first mindset by supporting teammates' customers when needed and contributing in daily/weekly stand-ups.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
