Now Hiring: Porter - Reliable Hands, Ready to Serve
What you will be doing:
The Porter is an integral part of our maintenance team. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the community which includes, but is not limited to, the community models, vacant units and public access areas like the office and clubhouse. The Porter's duties will include:
  • Cleaning apartments after move-out and preparing them for new residents.
  • Remove all trash from grounds daily.
  • Sweep sidewalks and driveways on a regular basis.
  • Water trees as well as trim grass and shrubs.
  • Support the maintenance team with make-readies and lend a hand to housekeeping when necessary.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Replace light bulbs.
  • Distribute flyers and letters to residents if necessary.
  • Assist in keeping the Maintenance shop clean.
  • Responsible for the security of the property at all times.
  • Keeping all keys to the property in his/her personal possession and refusing to hand the keys to any unauthorized person.

What we'll expect from you:
  • Active and valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
  • Must be available on notice in event of snow and/or ice and other on-site emergencies.
  • Up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.
