We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Yard Worker/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of our yard, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, organized, and prepared for customer use. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to support the team in various capacities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate and demonstrate proper use of a variety of aerial and general rental equipment to customers.
- Inspect returned equipment, documenting any damages or issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean yard and shop area.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries using the company pick-up truck and trailer as needed.
- Perform general maintenance on rental equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Follow up on maintenance schedules and document work performed.
