Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the safe and efficient execution of daily vessel and marine operations to achieve productivity and service targets.
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and operational personnel through effective leadership and performance management.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and operational resources to optimize vessel productivity, cargo flow, and terminal efficiency.
Monitor operational performance and make real-time decisions to minimize delays and support timely vessel turnaround.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable maritime regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support seamless terminal operations and customer service delivery.
Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and enhanced productivity.
What we are looking for
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve operational performance.
3 to 5 years of progressive experience in terminal operations, marine operations, logistics, transportation, or port operations.
Knowledge of container terminal operations and marine vessel activities.
Understanding of cargo handling processes, terminal equipment, and vessel productivity drivers.
Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and team management capabilities.
Ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and service standards.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Salary: $85K - $95K
Location: Moblie, AL
Hours: 12 hour Rotating Shifts | 2 nights, 3 days and every other weekend off
