Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the safe and efficient execution of daily vessel and marine operations to achieve productivity and service targets.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and operational personnel through effective leadership and performance management.

  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and operational resources to optimize vessel productivity, cargo flow, and terminal efficiency.

  • Monitor operational performance and make real-time decisions to minimize delays and support timely vessel turnaround.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable maritime regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support seamless terminal operations and customer service delivery.

  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and enhanced productivity.


What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve operational performance.

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in terminal operations, marine operations, logistics, transportation, or port operations.

  • Knowledge of container terminal operations and marine vessel activities.

  • Understanding of cargo handling processes, terminal equipment, and vessel productivity drivers.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and team management capabilities.

  • Ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and service standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Salary: $85K - $95K

Location: Moblie, AL

Hours: 12 hour Rotating Shifts | 2 nights, 3 days and every other weekend off
