Overview

Theย Host at the Port Wentworth Ice Cove createsย a welcoming first impression for guests by greeting them, seating them at tables, and coordinating with servers, all while maintaining a tidy host stand and handling inquiries to ensure smooth guest flow and service. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$15.00

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for greeting the guests upon entry
  • Check guests' purchased tickets and Escort guests to table
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the restaurant manager of low stock items.
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
  • Previous Hostess experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to operate corresponding system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
