Job description

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Hourly Rate: $23.66 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate and maintain packaging equipment in our Reno, Nevada manufacturing facility. You will support safe, efficient production by operating automated machinery, monitoring product quality, performing routine equipment care, and maintaining production records. A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production area to support a safe work environment.
  • Perform hourly quality checks, including verifying lot and sell-by codes for accuracy.
  • Tend to equipment by clearing jams, restocking materials, making operating adjustments, and setting machine conditions through computerized control panels.
  • Perform sanitation, Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate activities, preventative maintenance, and basic corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • 1+ years' experience operating production, packaging, or manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Read, write, and communicate in English to understand work instructions, safety procedures, and complete production and quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, computerized control systems, and inventory tracking systems such as SAP preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
