LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience.


SUMMARY: Responsible for writing primary catalog entries and working with Consignment Directors to research and write narrative entries for feature items for our wide-ranging Music & Entertainment auctions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, identify, and create descriptions for the catalog
  • Accurately and concisely write condition reports
  • Assist with inquiries and communicate with clients professionally and knowledgeably
  • Write catalog essays as needed
  • Assist with authentication
  • Proofread catalogs and essays
  • Assist with catalog production and coordinate with the Marketing department
  • Actively participate in previews and auctions
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
  • Ability to pay great attention to detail, from visual analysis of objects to editing catalogs
  • Must have a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills

  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
