Summary / Objective

Do you love the water, working with people, and making a splash (literally and figuratively)? We’re looking for a dynamic, people-first aquatics leader to guide swimmers of all ages through their journey—from “just getting their feet wet” to competitive swim team success. You’ll oversee swim lessons, inspire your team of instructors, and lead our USA Swim program with energy, organization, and passion.


This isn’t just about teaching strokes—it’s about building confidence, creating unforgettable experiences, and keeping the pool deck buzzing with positivity.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the charge in all things swim lessons—private, semi-private, and group.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and motivate an awesome team of swim instructors.
  • Be a visible, hands-on presence at the pool.
  • Meet regularly with instructors to keep everyone aligned and energized.
  • Keep swimmers and parents in the loop with clear, upbeat communication.
  • Partner with leadership to hit (and exceed) program revenue goals.
  • Jump in the pool to demo top-notch technique when needed.
  • Ensure lessons are safe, structured, and most importantly—FUN.
  • Maintain attendance, scheduling, and program operations smoothly.
  • Be the go-to expert for acac aquatic programs, policies, and safety.
  • Oversee USA Swim team operations: administration, coaches, meets, and beyond
  • Collaborate with the GM to keep our pools sparkling, safe, and inviting.
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong swimmer comfortable in deep and shallow water.
  • Energetic and ready to teach with repetitive motion (and enthusiasm).
  • Comfortable working in a warm, humid pool environment.
  • Flexible schedule availability—days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Prior aquatics teaching/coaching experience (bonus points!).
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willing to complete Starfish Instructor training within 30 days.
  • Creative, adaptable teaching style that works with kids AND adults.
  • Customer-service superstar with a positive attitude that shines poolside.
