Physical Therapist

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy or Doctoral from an accredited program.
  • Zero (0) years' related experience.

 LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

  • Texas PT licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (TBPTE).
  • Maintain active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Approved by American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience is highly desirable. Candidates without prior wound care experience must be willing to receive departmental wound care training to support patient care and departmental operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients.  Provides physical therapy services under the guidelines set by the Practice Act and Rules of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy.  Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards, while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, guidelines, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.

Senior Physical Therapist

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas.
  • Five years’ related experience.
