Pool attendants are staff members responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of swimming pool areas. Their duties typically include monitoring swimmers to ensure safety, enforcing pool rules, providing towels and amenities, cleaning poolside furniture, and sometimes assisting with basic water testing and chemical balancing. They often serve as the first point of contact for guests at pools in hotels, resorts, or community centers, and may also help set up or organize poolside events.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a pool technician?

To thrive as a Pool Technician, you need a strong understanding of water chemistry, pool maintenance procedures, and often a high school diploma or relevant certification. Familiarity with pool testing kits, chemical dosing systems, and cleaning equipment is typically required.
