Job description

Flex Pool - Picker / Packer
Join our roster as a Free Agent.
We're building a select team of dependable employees who want to make their own schedule. You don't want to work Monday? Not a problem. This seasonal roster supports the increased demand Sports Endeavors has during the summer. Our leaders will post open shifts on the schedule for members of this pool to request through our mobile app (or web browser).
Team members will pick and pack sports related products for customers in our air conditioned warehouse in Mebane, NC.
Current shifts include:
  • Day: 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Night: 6:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Pick/Pack Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties
Responsibilities:
  • Review order and pull product from warehouse shelving, ensuring the right item and amount of item is selected
  • Pack orders in correct shipping box or sleeve
  • Create shipping label using warehouse system software and scale
  • Assist with in keeping a clean and safe working environment throughout the CFC.
  • Work in other areas of the warehouse as needed; support work at our Washington St facility as needed.

Requirements:
  • Candidate should be able to pick, pull and pack merchandise with minimal absenteeism and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to read numbers and letters and match them up with picking locations
  • Operate RF device
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel and reach about your head.
  • Must be able to go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
  • Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to learn basic computer skills.
