A little about the position:

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and related systems within the Fiberglass manufacturing environment. This position performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime, maximize equipment performance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Some of What You Will Do:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems, and auxiliary production equipment.
  • Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment and building. including chopper guns, fluid sections, air motors, pumps, and related components.
  • Inspect booms, filter log and hoist.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to restore production operations safely and efficiently.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain maintenance records and logs.
  • Ensure activities are completed according to schedules.
  • Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure lockout/tagout and safety systems function properly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to read technical documents and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work above head, bend, read and write.
