Job description


The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of community amenities, common areas, and recreational facilities. This position helps ensure residents and guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while assisting with resident engagement activities, clubhouse events, and reporting maintenance concerns.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Pool Area
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Sweep pool deck and surrounding areas
  • Arrange chairs, tables, umbrellas, and pool furniture
  • Clean eating and seating areas
  • Clean restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of pool amenities
Sports Courts
  • Unlock courts daily
  • Pick up trash and debris
  • Empty trash cans
  • Monitor for maintenance issues and report concerns promptly
  • Perform leaf blowing 2–3 times per day
Barbecue Grill Areas
  • Leaf blow surrounding areas
  • Clean grills thoroughly
  • Clean sinks and cabinets
  • Wipe and sanitize tables and seating areas
Clubhouse
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors
  • Mop floors
  • Empty trash cans
  • Wipe down kitchen and gym areas
  • Sanitize all surfaces and door handles
  • Deodorize clubhouse areas
  • Restock wipes and disinfectant supplies as needed
  • Remove and clean pool table cover

Full-Time

Work schedules will vary based on operational needs, resident events, parties, staffing availability, and community activities.

Employees must be available to work a flexible swing shift schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Scheduled hours may vary, with some shifts beginning as early as 7:00 AM and others ending as late as 10:00 PM.




Pay Rate: $18 DOE
