Lead Pool Server - Seasonal
Position Summary
The Lead Pool Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service in a relaxed, resort-style pool environment while supporting daily operations and guiding the pool service team. This role sets the tone for guest experience by maintaining high service standards, ensuring consistency, and acting as a liaison between pool staff and management.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Act as the point of contact in the absence of management during pool service hours
  • Provide support to team members during peak hours- manage food service during operating hours
  • Track and manage inventory at Catalina Pool
  • Help foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Ensure accountability for service standards and operational procedures

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of serving experience; resort or poolside service preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and basic bar service
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in high temperatures for extended periods
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and carrying trays or service items
  • Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs
