Job description

Who We Are
White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's most dynamic cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. That's where you come in.
The Yacht Club is the signature fine dining seafood restaurant at Hotel Trinity, Autograph Collection - Austin's newest luxury boutique hotel, opening late 2026 at the corner of Trinity and Fifth Streets in the heart of downtown Austin. As the only Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in the city center, Hotel Trinity is a 258-room private hideaway located next to Antone's in the historic 6th Street entertainment district. The Yacht Club anchors the hotel's ground floor, offering a refined yet approachable take on coastal cuisine - high-quality fresh seafood and oyster bar experiences complemented by thoughtful steakhouse offerings, seasonal menus, and an elevated wine and beverage program. Designed to be a destination for Austin locals and hotel guests alike, The Yacht Club pairs polished, attentive service with a lively, social energy to create one of the city's most anticipated upscale seafood dining experiences.
We are seeking experienced restaurant servers to be a part of the opening and ongoing operations of The Yacht Club. This is a rare opportunity to open a fine-dining restaurant from the ground up -at one of Austin's most exciting new hospitality concepts. If you have a passion for seafood-forward dining, an eye for front-of-house excellence, and the drive to build something lasting, we want to hear from you.
Hotel Trinity, launching in late 2026 as the only Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in downtown Austin, is Austin's finest private hideaway. Featuring a guest-only rooftop pool, world-class hospitality amenities with residential appointments, and the city's most sought-after high-end seafood restaurant and oyster bar, Hotel Trinity offers a luxury boutique experience unlike any other-a place to work, play, and stay out of the fray.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality food and beverage service to all guests - creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive menu suggestions, and a warm, engaging dining atmosphere
  • Complete all necessary setup, side work, and closing duties to ensure smooth restaurant and food and beverage operations every shift
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes - accurately and confidently answering guest questions about food and drink selections
  • Ensure consistent guest satisfaction with food quality, beverage presentation, and overall dining experience from the first course to the final check
  • Promote teamwork and contribute to a friendly, safe, and professional hotel restaurant work environment
  • Accurately process all payment methods - cash, card, and digital - and complete end-of-shift paperwork and reconciliation
  • Maintain a neat, professional personal appearance as a brand ambassador for the hotel and restaurant
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver exemplary hospitality that keeps guests coming back
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Previous server, restaurant, or food and beverage customer service experience preferred - not required; we will train the right candidate
  • An outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a hotel restaurant or dining environment
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills - you read the table and respond to guest needs before they have to ask
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong team-player mindset - you thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced hotel food and beverage environment
  • Ability to handle high-volume service and perform consistently under pressure alongside a collaborative restaurant team
  • Physical ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business needs require
  • Food Handlers and TABC Certifications Required
