Job Overview


Yummy Pools is seeking a dependable, experienced, motivated Repair Technician who is comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work. This is a full-time position servicing around the Atlanta area Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays. Our main objective is to provide consistent, top-notch pool services to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair issues with pool equipment; including pumps, filters, heaters, timers, chlorinators and automation systems

  • Replace or repair defective components such as valves, motors, seals and lights

  • Perform leak detection and repair in plumbing and pool structures

  • Troubleshoot and fix pool automation systems and electrical components

  • Assist in routine maintenance; including brushing, vacuuming, skimming and backwashing filters

  • Monitor chemical levels and balance water using appropriate chemicals as needed during service visits

  • Identify signs of wear, damage or unsafe conditions in pool surfaces or systems

  • Communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed, performed or pending

  • Stay current with industry standards, products and repair techniques through training

  • Identify equipment models and part numbers for replacement

  • Use mobile apps or service software to track jobs and update work orders (Skimmer)

  • Performs related duties as assigned


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Proficient pool repair experience

  • Knowledge of pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems)

  • Previously performed route-based pool cleaning

  • Understanding of pool plumbing and leak detection

  • Familiarity with water chemistry and balancing pool chemicals

  • Ability to manage customer expectations and provide timely updates

  • Valid US Driverโ€™s License

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to swim proficiently

  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
